Great news from Austria!! Kenay has now achieved a second Championship!! Kenay is now also a Bosnien Herzogoviner Champion !! Congratulations to her owners from the Akamute gang!!

We are sorry to inform all those that were interested in a Naome & Jacob puppy that the breeding was not successful :( We will update the upcoming litters page when we decide our future breeding program.

Great news from Terhi Pelkonen owner of "Siu" (Chance & Xera - Carlotta) in Finland!! Siu attended her first Fun Match and not only won Best Puppy over 40 puppies but went on to win Best In Show - 3 out of almost 200 dogs of all breeds and all ages!! Congratulations!!

Koal adds another new title to his name. Koal got his two last legs for his CD obedience title this past weekend!!!!! Not only did he score high at 191.5 and 193.5, Koal won HIGH IN CLASS not once but TWICE with a large class entry!!! He received nice compliments from exhibitors and judge Howard on his preformance!!! Show picture to follow shortly.

Finally.. I added some 7 wks old pictures of the puppies!! Sorry.. I was busy finishing up a summer session and only got the chance to take a few snapshots!! We will have our last set of stacked pictures in a few days!

Congratulations to Christine Haché and Abby who is now known as Ch. Akamute's Abby Dominican!! Abby finished her championship at 12 months of age in only three weekends!! Our girl Godiva (Samoyed) also picked up two more group placements and puppy group wins!!

Wow.... What a weekend!! First show... Three New Champions (bred/owned by): Ch. Akamute's Sao Xpecial Effects "Zouk" (11 months old), Ch. Akamute's Riding the Wild Side "Naome" (18 months old) and Multi BPIS Ch. Snowstar Akamute Godiva "Godiva".... Godiva took TWO BEST PUPPY IN SHOW her second weekend out also finishing her championship at only 7 months of age with Multiple Group Placements and Puppy Group Wins!! In the afternoon Akamute's Abby Dominican "Abby" (11 months old) owned by Christine Haché  won the breed,  GROUP 3rd and Best PUPPY IN GROUP, picking up more points along the way and being only few points away from her Championship in two weekends!!

We received an exciting call from co-breeder/co-owner Marg Macfadden from Snowstar Samoyed that our girl Snowstar Akamute Godiva "Godiva" went to her first shows today at the age of 7 months took Best of Breed both shows and a to top it off a GROUP 4th!!! First day out and she's already half way through her Championship!! Wish we could have been there to see it, new pictures of her coming soon!! More news, Godiva picks up 2 more points on Sunday and Best Puppy In Group!! She's on a roll!!

All the dogs are blowing coat!! Everyone is being bath every couple of weeks for the next month or so in order to remove the dead hairs and be replaced with a new growth.. fun time of year! New pictures added to Aero's page!

New pictures of the puppies added!! One week old Also back from weekend show (MKC). Another great weekend. Our boy Zouk took Best of Breed, Best of Winners, Best Puppy both day, Naome took Winners Bitch one day and Abby along with her owner Christine made her debut took Winners Bitch on Sunday! Both Zouk and Naome are now only needing each one single point to finish!! And to top it off, a Sammy boy from my first co-bred sammy litter's first day out in the show ring took a Group 4th and Best Puppy in Group!!!!!

Finally I updated the picture page and added the info on our new litter. I'm happy to announce the arrival of eight puppies. All came out kicking and screaming. Small but mighty!! Mom and babies are doing great!! Individual pictures on Birth page. The whelping went by the book. Xera did a great job. All eight puppies were born within 4 1/2 hours.

Puppies have arrived in the early hours of the morning!!
